Beaumont returns to Women’s Big Bash

Kent captain Tammy Beaumont will return to play Down Under in the Women’s Big Bash League in Australia.
The World-Cup winning opener is set to star for Adelaide Strikers after making her WBBL debut last winter.
The 26-year-old Dover-born batsman is already in Australia preparing for the Women’s Ashes multi-format series which starts later this month.
The tournament starts on Saturday 9 December and the expanded schedule will again include a New Year’s Eve double-header with the men’s side at the Adelaide Oval.
The final will take place on Sunday 4 February.
