Tammy Beaumont and Tash Farrant return to county duty after playing for the England Academy in the build-up to the Women's Ashes for two T20s at Polo Farm on Sunday.

Dover-born bat Beaumont, 24, will lead the side and 19-year-old left-arm bowler Farrant will strengthen the side to face Nottinghamshire (10.30am) and Surrey (4.30pm).

Kent are level on points with leaders Yorkshire, who play a double-header at home against Ireland and Middlesex simultaneously.

Yorkshire will win the title if they win both matches by virtue of their win against Kent at Harrogate earlier this month.

Kent coach Stuart Eddicott said: "As the table currently stands we are joint top withYorkshireon 20 points.

"The league rules state that in the event of teams finishing on level points, the leaguepositionwill be decided on the result between the two sides.

"So we need to win both games and hope thatYorkshire lose one of their last two games in order for us to win the T20 Cup.

"Let's just do our bit and see where it leaves us."
