In-form Kent Spitfires batsman Joe Denly increased his lead at the top of the Professional Cricketers Association Most Valuable Player ratings in the Royal London One-Day Cup.

After a club-record 150 not out and four wickets against Glamorgan on Friday, the 32-year-old hit an unbeaten 44 to guide Kent to a third successive One-Day Cup win.

The first Kent Cricket Academy graduate to play for England is averaging 58.33 with the bat and has taken key wickets with his leg breaks.

He has taken eight wickets at 25.62 with an economy rate of 6.21 and has taken four catches in Kent’s five matches to date.
