Notts/Lancs v Kent Women (Sun, 10.30am)

Kent travel to Welbeck for the opening Vitality Women’s T20 double-header of the summer against Nottinghamshire (10.30am) and Lancashire (1.30pm) aiming for a fourth 20-over title.

The new condensed four-week format means Kent face three away Sunday double-headers before welcoming Middlesex and Warwickshire for the final round of matches at The County Ground, Beckenham on Sunday 1 July.

A 13-strong squad heads North this weekend after finishing third in the 50-over format despite missing England players for multiple matches.

Skipper Tammy Beaumont and spinner Laura Marsh are on England duty ahead of next Friday’s Royal London ODI at Canterbury but all-rounder Phoebe Franklin has recovered from concussion to rejoin the squad.

New Zealand Arlene Kelly and teenager Kirsty Dymond are set to make their Kent T20 debuts at Welbeck.

Notts are without all-rounder Jenny Gunn and Lancashire’s international spinner Sophie Ecclestone is away on international duty.
