Robinson takes 4 catches on England U19 debut

Academy scholar Ollie Robinson took two catches in each innings on his England Under 19s debut at Chesterfield.

The Sidcup-born wicketkeeper, 18, faced a strong India side with the visitors posting 519 in their first innings after being invited to bat.

England were dismissed for 195 in reply before rain threatened chances of a result before India clinched victory in the only half-hour possible with the hosts well short of the 498 required to win with Robinson scoring 1 and 0 against the rampant tourists.

Next up is a four-day match at Worcester (July 31-August 3) before the Royal London One-Day series between the sides on August 7 including a match at The Spitfire Ground on Wednesday 9 August (2pm start) as part of the 166th Canterbury Cricket Week.

Entry to the match is free and it will be televised live on Sky Sports Cricket.
