Adam Riley took three wickets and a fine slip catch as Bexley beat Lordswood by three wickets.

The off-spinner claimed 3/24 in 9.4 overs as the visitors were bundled out for just 104 in 42.4 overs.

In reply, Hugh Bernard grabbed 2/31 in 9.2 overs as Bexley reached the modest target with 9.4 overs to spare despite tidy bowling former Kent men Amjad Khan and Fabian Cowdrey.

Academy scholar Oliver Robinson top-scored with 89 as Beckenham won a rain-affected match against Tunbridge Wells at Foxgrove Road.

The 18-year-old wicketkeeper opened the batting and hit nine boundaries as Beckenham posted 179 for six in 45 overs.

Reigning champions Hartley Country Club were humbled at home after inserting visitors Tenterden in a rain-reduced match.

Inspired by an opening spell of 4/11 off six overs by Tom Richards which helped to reduce Hartley to 23-5 chasing 153 in 30 overs before sealing a 37-run win.

In another low-scoring affair, Sandwich Town won at Sevenoaks Vine after bowling their hosts out for 80, chasing 134 to win.

Zak Crawley picked up a wicket with his swing bowling for Vine before Town’s overseas player Grant Stewart took 2/4 in six overs as the wickets were shared between all five bowlers on show.

Blackheath beat newly-promoted Holmesdale by 67 runs thanks to a Tanweer Sikandar 50 and Dipayan Paul’s spell of 3/8 off 6.4 overs.

This leaves Holmesdale and Sevenoaks Vine as the only sides without a win to date. This will change for one of them this coming Saturday as the two clash at Montreal Park. Likewise, Sandwich and Bexley are the only two sides to win all three. This too will end on Saturday as Bexley travel to Sandwich.

In Division One, Charlie Hartley took 2/32 in Dartford’s win versus Hayes as Imran Qayyum took 1/41 for Bromley as they beat Bickley Park.
