Late start for day one of our Championship match with Surrey

THEClub would like to let members and fans know that the first day of our LV County Championship match with Surrey (28 August) gets underway at midday – an hour later than usual.

Both sides have agreed to this because of the anticipated late finish in tomorrow“s floodlit NatWest Pro40 match.

With the later start, the hours of play have changed on the first two days and now run as follows:

Day 1
Session 1 – 1200 – 1400
Lunch
Session 2 – 1440 – 1640 (or 32 overs remaining)
Tea
Session 3 – 1700 – 1830
Close

Day 2
Session 1 – 1100 – 1330
Lunch
Session 2 – 1410 – 1610 (or 32 overs remaining)
Tea
Session 3 – 1630 – 1830
Close

Day 3 and 4
Normal hours of Championship play
