Job Vacancy: Catering Manager – The County Ground, Beckenham

We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Manager at The County Ground, Beckenham.

Main Objectives:
- To be accountable for all aspects of the business, both legislative & financial.
- Delegating and communicating responsibilities effectively to team members.
- As figurehead of the business, promote the venue to its maximum potential building relationships with clients, customers and employees alike.
- Direct & motivate the management team ensuring effective communication between departments and Head Office utilising management meetings, briefings etc. setting goals, deadlines & training procedures
Working Relationships:
- Venue Management Team (Regional C&E Manager/Head Chef).
- Maintain close working relationship with Head Office, Operations Director and Accounts Department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all aspects of the business, both legislative & financial including submitting reports on a daily/weekly and monthly basis to Head Office.
- Grow the Conference and Banqueting function, including sales.
- Responsibility of the Facilities Management of the site.
- Delegating and communicating responsibilities effectively to team members.
- Promote the venue to its maximum potential building relationships with clients, customers and employees alike.
- Direct & motivate the management team ensuring effective communication between departments and Head Office utilising management meetings, briefings etc. setting goals, deadlines & training procedures.
- Responsible for event set up and breakdown of all kiosks and responsible areas.
- Ensure that financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Ensure that the other members of the management team are fully aware of and achieving their objectives.
- To be aware of and ensure that those responsible to you are aware of all legislation that is relevant to your work and ensure that all legal requirement are met including: Licensing, Health and Safety at Work, COSHH, Environmental Health, Fire Precautions and any others.
