Second XI share spoils with Surrey
Kent shared the spoils with Surrey in the second XI T20 double-header at Polo Farm.
Surrey won the first match with Zak Crawley top-scoring with 40 off 38 balls and Alex Blake hitting 31 off 21.
In the second match, the hosts posted 188 for three inspired by a 130-run stand by Zak Crawley (59 off 48 balls) and Jimmy Neesham (81 off 44).
Alex Blake smashed 18* off 11 balls to push Kent to a competitive total.
In reply, Grant Stewart picked up 3/23 and Adam Riley took 2/38 in effective four-over spells.
Jimmy Neesham and Calum Haggett took the new ball and picked up a wicket apiece as Kent close out a 21-run win.
