Kent Cricket search for new Media and Communications Manager

Applications are invited for the position of Media and Communications Manager of Kent County Cricket Club.

The role is a key management position and requires the successful candidate to devise and implement a detailed media and communications plan to ensure that Kent Cricket is represented publicly in a positive and proactive light.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for all media activity; community involvement programme; public relations and internal/ external communications. They will also provide hands on management of all communications mechanisms to ensure that Kent Cricket is seen as an open and responsive organisation.

Suitable candidates will be astute, media aware, with a track record of communications success gained through building effective relationships at all levels. A knowledge, appreciation and understanding of the sports industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
