Plans have already been made to produce another commemorative Kent Cricket first-class playing shirt for 2021, after the names of all of the Club’s 219 Capped Players featured on a special 150th Year shirt during the Bob Willis Trophy in 2020. A further announcement will follow in the next few days.

Black Opal’s Managing Director, Jamie Smith, said: “We’re extremely pleased to partner with Kent Cricket as they move forward into the next 150 years of their history.

“This is an exciting time to be involved with a county making big progress in the annuls of the game, and hopefully the team can win a trophy in the near future wearing a Black Opal sponsored shirt!”

Kent Cricket’s Director of Partnerships, Andy Griffiths, said: “We’re delighted to have Black Opal on board with us.

“They have experience of working in partnership with other cricketing bodies, including the Lord’s Taverners, and we’re excited to see what opportunities there are to work closer with Black Opal over the coming season.”
