Kent Cricket’s Chairman, Simon Philip, said: “Derek has served the Committee for some years and since 2017 has been an invaluable supporter to me knowing the Club’s finances were being well controlled and supervised.”

“I am delighted to confirm his appointment as a Vice President of the Club in recognition of the years of service he has given.”

On being appointed as Vice President, Taylor said: “I am extremely pleased to have the great honour of being made a Vice President of this great Club.”
