Academy quartet called up to national competitions

A quartet of Kent Cricket Academy scholars have been selected for competition at the National Cricket Performance Centre at Loughborough.

Bexley wicketkeeper-batsmanOliver Robinson,will play for London & East in the England Development Programme Under-17 event to be held later this month.

Robinson, 17, made his second XI debut last season and has been in fine form for Kent Under-17s, scoring 251 against Sussex at Polo Farm and a century against Surrey at Cobham last month.

Three fellow scholars have also been invited to a Bunbury Under-15 invitational match at the NCPC.

WicketkeeperJordan Cox,from Thanet, Folkestone all-rounderTom Davisand Tunbridge Wells batsmanJulian O'Riordan,all aged 15, have received a call-up for a three-day match later this month.
