CEO to sleep rough to raise funds and awareness for homeless

Kent Cricket chief executive Jamie Clifford will take part in a charity event on Saturday (17 September) to raise awareness and funds for two local charities.
Jamie and other business and community bosseswill sleep out in Canterbury overnight in an event organised by Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise to highlight the work of Porchlight and Catching Lives, two local charities supporting the homeless.
Mr Clifford said: "I would not claim we will experience the true reality of being homelessness, I hope that this event will raise much needed funds.
"I would like to thank all who have sponsored me– it will achieve very positive things for vulnerable people."
