With the 2024 season rapidly approaching, Kent Cricket are pleased to confirm two opportunities for groundstaff to attend a Pitch Preparation Seminar.

Supported by The Grounds Management Association (GMA), the session will be led by the Regional Pitch Advisor for the South of England, Phil Jeggo. The topics to be covered include:

• Pitch preparation considerations.
• Mower types & cutting heights.
• Wetting and drying a pitch.
• Brushing, raking, mowing.
• Rolling.
• Marking out the pitch.

Both sessions will start from 18:00, with arrival and refreshments available from 17:30.

Groundstaff from any club, team or organisation are welcome to register for the cost of £25.

 Clubs affiliated via either the KCL or KCVL will have access to a discount code, reducing the cost to just £10.
