A message from Jimmy Adams

The past 5 seasons have gone by so quickly! It seems just yesterday that I arrived on a crisp morning in early Feb to begin my new role here wondering if I would survive the first 2 years! The five years that have followed have been an exceptionally positive experience in the company of some fantastic people both within and outside the club.

So many people have impacted me here at the club from the Chairman and Presidents through the Club committee, administrative staff, ground staff and caterers, that it would take more space than is available to adequately express my thanks to them all.

That said, I do want to use this public forum to say a massive “Thank you!” to all the supporters inside and outside the county who have made my time here so enjoyable – and that definitely includes those who made the “Members Forums” so lively and interesting! Like you, I experienced the entire kaleidoscope of emotions while being here and probably like you now carry the badge “Kent for life”.

Finally I'd just like to express my gratitude to all the players coaches and support staff who have been a part of my inner circle. I'm grateful for their time, honesty and in so many cases their patience with a stubborn coach who may not have listened too well at times! Being a part of their lives has been a very enriching experience and one I'll carry for the rest of my life.

I will definitely be missing you all and wish the entire county as much success possible in the seasons ahead.
