Air Ambulance thanks Kent Cricket supporters for donations

Wednesday 12th August 2015

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance raised £535 with a raffle at the Royal London One-Day Cup match against Sussex Sharks on Sunday 2 August.

Katie Eeles, the charity's head of promotions, said: "All of the event staff were very helpful and welcoming, and it was great to engage with so many people.

"Engaging with the public in this way really helps us to expand our supporter base which is fantastic, particularly this year as we are keen to spread awareness of the charity’s 25th anniversary.

"The income and awareness raised yesterday would not have been possible without your support."

Legendary England all-rounder Sir Ian Botham will join former England all-rounder and selector Geoff Miller OBE at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence on Saturday 19 September.

The duo will be special guests at a three-course dinner in aid of Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance and hosted by comedian Adger Brown.

Tickets cost £85 each or £800 for a table of ten via or by calling 01227 473612 weekdays 9am to 5pm.
