Kent batsman Alex Blake is preparing for an exciting 2015 season with a spell at North Dandenong in Australia.

The 26-year-old is playing in the Dandenong District League, 20 miles south-east of Melbourne.

In his opening two-day game, Blake top-scored with 39 in tricky conditions against Buckley Ridges in a comfortable victory by an innings and 21 runs.

The Kent Cricket Academy graduate followed up with a swashbuckling 54 not out against Dingley off just 19 balls, as they cruised to a nine-wicket win.

Blake was part of the original 2003/04 Academy intake with the returning Joe Denly and England women's star Lydia Greenway.
