Asda Kwik Cricket County Finals Day ñ this Sunday at St Lawrence

Wednesday 1st July 2009

FOLLOWING on from the successful staging of our two summer concerts, Kent County Cricket Club hosts the Asda Kwik Cricket County Finals Day this Sunday, 05 July. More than 150 year-six children will take part on the day, all hoping to earn a place in the regional finals.

The Kent Cricket Board is heading up the competition and Lead Organiser, Heidi Coleman, is anticipating a fantastic day of kwik cricket: “It should be tremendous fun once again this year. Kent runs one of the largest competitions, throughout the country, with around 32 festivals feeding into the County Final. Hopefully we will spot some talented youngsters, who will go on to serve Kent in the years to come.”
