Bell-Drummond signs off with Northern Suburbs semi-final

Daniel Bell-Drummond signed off his spell with Northern Suburbs in Queensland with defeat in the First Grade semi-finals.

The 21-year-old scored 318 runs in seven matches in 2015 with a top score of 157 not out versus South Brisbane in January.

DBD was out for nine on Saturday against Toombul, who qualified for next week’s final with a 85-run defeat at the Ian Healy Oval.

The Kent Cricket Academy graduate is due to return home for Kent’s pre-season training with Norths colleague Brendan Nash this week.

Former West Indies star Nash scored 233 runs at an average of 46.6 with a best of 92 against Toombul last month.

The 37-year-old will return to Kent in 2015 for a fifth season at the club.
