Blake blasts century in T20 warm-up

Alex Blake hit his fastest century of the summer so far as Kent beat a Future Stars Academy XI in a friendly at Ealing.
The 28-year-old bludgeoned six fours and eleven sixes in an innings of 110 off 47 balls at the top of the order.
The left-hander’s knock came at a strike rate of 234 per 100 balls but was bettered.
Calum Haggett’s 19-ball half century included three fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 263 as Kent posted 279 for two.
Zak Crawley carried on his recent rich form with 51 off 27 balls and Adam Ball struck 56* off 29 balls.
In reply, Matt Hunn struck in the first over before wickets for Hugh Bernard, Imran Qayyum (2) and Jasdev Bassan stifled the scoring to secure a 123-run win.
