Bublé booked for Spitfires v Bears CB40 this Friday

Michael Bublé tribute artist, Jason Sway will be making an exclusive appearance at the St Lawrence Ground this Friday, when Kent Spitfires take on Warwickshire Bears in the Clydesdale Bank 40 competition under floodlights.

Jason is fast becoming one of the finest and most talked about singers in the UK, with a tribute to the great American songbook; with the greatest swing songs ever written, performed by Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tony Bennett.

Jason has worked professionally as a singer and actor in various productions including Jesus Christ Superstarand Disco Inferno. He has also appeared in BBC's Eastenders, Come Fly with Meand feature filmsUncut andUgly Beautiful.

The Spitfires will be looking to bounce back from the defeat suffered at the hands of the Unicorns in their last group outing, and, in the shape of Warwickshire, face a stern test, the Bears having wontheir opening three matches to leave them well positioned in second spot.

Gates open at 2.40pm ahead of the scheduled start time of 4.40pm. Jason will be entertaining the crowds during the afternoon and evening andthe Club have also booked a Rodeo Bull for Friday night, so be sure not to miss it!

Tickets for Kent's first home floodlit match of the season on Friday 1st June are available online now, with generous discounts for print at home tickets which you can purchased until gates open (two hours before play is scheduled to commence).

Parking will be available on the tennis courts at Simon Langton Girls’ School from 2.40pm on Friday, please avoid the school entrance between 3.30pm and 4.00pm if you can due to the need for teachers and students to leave the school at the end of the day.

Please be aware that this is a televised match, and therefore on site parking at the St Lawrence Ground itself will be limited.

Please also note that alcohol may not be brought into the ground for CB40 matches this season due to a change in regulations. Bars will be open at the St Lawrence Ground.
