Cardy step up to CB40 Sponsorship

Kent based Cardy Construction have increased their support of Kent County Cricket Club, announcing today their new position as major sponsor of the Kent Spitfires in the Clydesdale Bank 40 over competition. Speaking on behalf of Cardy, Managing Director Stuart Gremo noted that, “we were very pleased when the Club approached us with the opportunity to increase our support and take on the significant position of CB40 team major sponsor. The profile associated with front of shirt is nationwide, so it’s great for the profile of the business and also good to support Kent Cricket.”

Earlier in the year Cardy were confirmed as sleeve sponsor for the LV=County Championship team, having entered into a three year agreement with the Club. The CB40 position is currently for one year, with renewal rights.

Cardy are currently working on the major redevelopment of the St Lawrence Ground, involving the refurbishment and fit-out of many of the buildings, the construction of a new road infrastructure, together with associated statutory services and the manufacture and installation of five new retractable floodlights.

Kent County Cricket Club CEO Jamie Clifford commented, “it is has been a pleasure to work so closely with with Cardy’s on the redevelopment of the St Lawrence.
