Children-Go-Free thanks to ECL Telecom

Monday 16th August 2010

Sunday“s final home Clydesdale Bank 40 fixture between the Kent Spitfires and Nottingham Outlaws is already a winner for children and families thanks to the support of ECL Telecom – telecoms provider to businesses of Kent. The major sponsor of the club“s limited over side has joined forces with Kent County Cricket club to sponsor a children -go-free promotion. They will also supply complimentary tee-shirts to the first 500 youngsters who attended.

CEO Edward Richardson stated that, “ECL Telecom is very much a family orientated business. We thought supporting the family day concept fitted perfectly with us, was a great initiative to give families cost effective activities during the holidays, and hopefully a good crowd will help the Spitfires win the match.”

Other activity on the day for families include a dedicated safe area to play cricket in, bouncy castles, face painting and also a one hour cricket activity session.

To further encourage parents to support the ECL Telecom Family Day, Kent County Cricket Club has teamed up with the Kent Messenger group. This week“s Kent Messenger publications will include a £5.00 voucher so that adults can purchase tickets for £20.00 rather than the usual £25.00 match day price.
