Club seeks volunteers to support Second XI and Women’s match reporting

Here at Kent Cricket, we know our Members and supporters are a talented group who have a diverse range of skills and experience. Following discussion with a number of Members, we are keen to build upon the fantastic work of the yellow shirts and recruit some additional volunteers to assist in another aspect of the Club’s work.

This season we will be offering match previews and full match reports for Kent Cricket First Team’s home and away fixtures. The BBC will be providing ball by ball commentary of all CB40 and T20 matches, as well as a number of County Championship matches.

We know we have a group of fiercely loyal supporters who attend Kent Cricket’s Second XI and Women’s fixtures, and we are keen you gain your assistance in helping to develop our reporting on these matches.

We are seeking volunteers who would like to produce a match report following each Second XI or Women’s fixture. Ideally we are seeking volunteers with some prior experience in this or a similar area as your report will be published on the official website alongside the scorecard. All we ask is that you have the capacity to send your report to the Club the day after the match by email.

If we find that we have more than one volunteer we will retain others in our database, should there be other activities which you may wish to support during the season.
