Hosting a Women’s Softball Cricket Festival

Since the launch of the ECB Women’s Softball Cricket Campaign back in 2017, the format has proved ever popular for women and girls across the county.

In Kent, we now have a thriving female softball cricket network, with close to 20 festivals occurring this summer and countless more fixtures arranged between clubs. The format is Fun, Fast, Safe and Social and can be a fantastic way to bring women back to the sport or a great way to start.

Using the various resources available to us from the ECB and from past experience of hosting events, we are pleased to now offer a ‘How To Guide’ for running a Women’s Softball Cricket Festival at your club.

The guide will run through the key focusses for Before, During and After the Festival Day and will cover Marketing, Health and Safety, Equipment and Format.
