Kent Cricket Indoor Leagues Return

After some years of disruption due to the pandemic we are delighted to confirm the return of the Kent Cricket Indoor Leagues on 22nd October 2022.

The Pharon Canterbury Indoor League returns to the Spitfire Ground, and the Kent Cricket MET Indoor League is back at the County Ground, Beckenham for the 2022/23 Season. The appetite for Indoor Cricket is high, and with county venues available for use again this year cricketers can continue to play cricket throughout the winter.

The current indoor leagues are:

  • Pharon Canterbury League
  • Kent Cricket MET Indoor League (Beckenham)
  • Thanet Indoor Cricket League
  • Dover League
  • Saxon Shore League
  • Sevenoaks Indoor League

Within Kent we have a rich history of National Winners of the ECB Indoor 6 a side Club Championship, which takes place at Lords, with past winners including Broadstairs CC and Canterbury CC.

The ECB competition in Kent is comprised of multiple leagues across the county from which the winners of the leagues send a representative to the County Finals. This representative is usually the winners of the top division within these leagues. Leagues also run multiple divisions that usually run between October and March.

Rounds within the National Competition are usually scheduled as below:

ECB, County Indoor Finals – Spitfire Ground, Canterbury, Sports Hall

Scheduled – Mid-February

ECB, Regional County Indoor Playoff – County Ground Beckenham Sports Hall

Scheduled – End-February

ECB, Regional Indoor Finals – County Ground Beckenham Sports Hall

Scheduled – Beginning-March

ECB, Indoor National Final

Scheduled – Mid-March
