Kent Women’s & Girls’ Club Indoor Festivals 2024

Tuesday 19th December 2023

Kent Cricket are running a series of indoor club cricket festivals for women’s and girls’ clubs in the new year.

The indoor festivals will offer 6-a-side female club teams the chance to compete in either softball or hardball cricket festivals, in a fun, yet competitive, environment, across February and March 2024.

The festivals will run either at Christchurch University in Canterbury (East) or Crook Log Leisure Centre/Sevenoaks School (West). The festivals were released on a first come first served basis, with the women’s club festivals already sold out and the girl’s club festivals with limited spaces.

The softball festivals are focused purely on participation, social and enjoyment. The women’s hardball festivals will have a lot of the same attributes, but with a more competitive, performance edge. Festival costs vary from £30-£50 depending on the age group and length.

All the women’s club festivals, have the minimum age of 12 years (as of 1st September 2023). The girls’ festivals are U12 (Softball) & U14 (Hardball) with 3 x Softball and 2 x Hardball. To enter a girls’ club team, please email David Sear, who is co-ordinating these festivals.
