Kent Women’s Slam Finals Confirmed

The Kent Women’s Slam Competition is due to conclude this Saturday with Bells Yew Green Belles, Mersham Allsorts, Town Malling Swans and Tunbridge Wells Royals, all competing for the Cup.

Hosted at Tonbridge CC, the top 4 teams from the round robin stage have qualified, with 1st playing 4th and 2nd playing 3rd in the semi-finals, before the winners meet in the final that afternoon.

The Slam has this year acted as an entry to hard ball cricket competition for female players of all ages in Kent, providing a bridge between girls’ and women’s cricket as well as offering a convenient and fun way into the game for those who have always wanted to get involved. The Slam offers a suitable accompaniment to the fast format women’s cricket everyone is now able to watch on the TV.
