Taunton Festival Success for Kent U13 Girls

The Kent U13 Girls Performance squad recently returned from a hugely successful week-long cricket festival held in Somerset, where they played five 40 over fixtures against strong county opposition, that included the likes of Hampshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire.

The girls produced some dominant team performances to win five out of five played and collect the trophy for this inaugural tournament!

With a talented squad packed full of all-round ability, every player made a contribution. There were also some notable stand out individual performances. These included, Ruby Marriage with scores of 96 vs Cheshire and 69 vs Hants, Umaiza Malik with 75 vs Somerset and Daisy Brandon with 50 vs Hants.

Wickets were generally shared across the bowling unit during the week, with Millie Foster taking 4-15 and Isobel Jones 3-19 vs Somerset and Ivonnya Senevirathna taking 3-18 vs California.
