Recognising the efforts of clubs and individuals across the recreational game in Kent
The Grassroots Cricket Awards 2022 recognises the fantastic work that individuals, clubs and community organisations have been doing across Kent to support the grassroots game and to celebrate the efforts of those who’s hard work and dedication to the game are invaluable to recreational cricket.
This year the 11 categories for nominations are: Connecting Communities, Inspired to Play, Rising Star, Game changer, Unsung Hero, Growing the Game, Lifetime Achiever, Cricket Innovators, SafeHands Award, Tackling Climate Change and Volunteer Grounds Management Team of the Year.

If you have an individual at your club who you think should be recognised for their efforts, or would like to nominate your club or community organisation for their contributions to the recreational game this year, then please complete the Nomination Form below.
We want to hear about all the great volunteers in the community- please nominate any individual, club or community group that you think deserve recognition and tell us about their achievements by the deadline of Friday 19th August 2022. We will then allocate them to one of the specific categories.
Winners will be invited to attend the annual Kent Cricket Volunteers Day and enjoy a day of hospitality at the Spitfire Ground St Lawrence on Tuesday 27th September 2022, for day 2 of Kent’s LV=Insurance County Championship match vs Somerset. Winners will be presented with their awards in a ceremony on the day.
