Darren Sammy set to play against Kent on FGS Plant Tour

Former West Indies captain Darren Sammy is one of five internatonals named in the Windward Islands Volcanoes squad to face Kent Spitfires in the Regional Super-50 on next month's FGS Plant Tour.

Sammy who lifted two World T20 titles will be joined by batsmen Devon Smith and Jonathan Charles, wicketkeeper Andre Fletcher and off-spinner Shane Shilingford.

The 33-year-old, who played for Hampshire in the 2016 NatWest T20 Blast, is set to make his first appearance in the Caribbean one-day competition since 2011.

Left arm chinaman bowler and middle order batsman Audy Alexander could make his List A debut after breaking into the first-class team.

The Volcanoes team will be led by coach Liam Sebastien with Andre Fletcher as his deputy after the departure of long-time coach Ian Alleyne.
