ECB announces itinerary for England’s ODI tri-series in Australia

Monday 23rd June 2014

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today announced the itinerary for the England One-Day squad’s triangular series in Australia next winter against the host country and India.

England will travel to Australia in early January for a tri-series of One-Day Internationals which will see each country take on the other twice ahead of a final at the WACA in Perth on February 1st.

ECB Chief Executive David Collier said: “Following our seven-match ODI series in Sri Lanka before Christmas, this tour will provide further excellent preparation for the England team prior to the ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. We look forward to an exciting and competitive series against two of the world’s best teams in this format of the game and thank both Cricket Australia and BCCI for their support in agreeing this schedule.”
