Club visits Central Mosque in Gravesend

On Friday 10 March, Kent Cricket CEO Simon Storey & Men’s Head Coach Matt Walker were joined by Kent Cricket Community Trust (KCCT) Development Manager Sarah Osborn & Susan Rooney, Kent Cricket’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) in a visit to the Central Mosque & Islamic Community Centre in Gravesend.
The Club’s representatives were joined by members of Gravesend Cricket Club, who play their cricket at the Bat & Ball Ground, representatives of the Sikh community & the nearby Gurdwara.
Kent Cricket was invited to speak for five minutes before Friday prayers; discussing Kent Cricket & plans for the future in working together to open up more opportunities for young people to get into cricket.
