England Women to play tri-series in India

Women’s World Cup champions England will travel to Mumbai to play a T20 tri-series against India and Australia with the final scheduled for 3 April.
The tournament will provide useful preparation for the T20 World Cup which will be played in the Caribbean in November.

England concluded the recent Women’s Ashes by winning the last two T20 matches – performances which will have pleased Mark Robinson.
Danni Wyatt scored a brilliant century in that final game in Canberra as England set a new record in chasing chasing down Australia’s 178/2.
The team will also play three ODIs against India following the T20 Tri-Series. The matches are to be played outside the ICC Women’s Championship structure with dates and venues to be announced shortly.
India tri-series fixtures (at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai):
22 March – India v Australia, 24 March – Australia v England, 26 March – India v England, 28 March – India v Australia, 30 March – Australia v England, 1 April – India v England, 3 April – Final.
England will play South Africa at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence on Friday 15 June 2018.
