Christmas is just a couple of days away and the Club office is getting ready to close down for the year. If you are looking to renew your membership or buy a ticket package, just a quick reminder of our festive season opening hours. The office closes for Christmas at 5pm on Thursday (23 December) and opens again in the New Year on Tuesday 4 January 2011.
However, there is still plenty going on at Kent County Cricket Club. Read on for a quick rundown on all what is happening.

Buy your membership and ticket packages online
The Club is delighted to report that Kent Cricket members and supporters can now renew their membership and ticketing packages online, after finally receiving key processing details from our bank. Read the full story online:

Only nine days left to snap up your Early Bird special!
A reminder that you have just nine days left to snap up your Early Bird membership and ticketing special. At the end of the year, the Early Bird special ends and all prices go up 10% to their normal price. If you want to take advantage of the Early Bird specials then please purchase online or send in your payment and membership details, before the end of the year. Packages are available to purchase by post, over the phone and in person. If sending by post we will honour the Early Bird price, regardless of when it arrives at the office, as long as it“s postmarked before 31 December. You can read more by clicking here:

2011 fixtures released
The eagerly awaited fixtures for the 2011 season have now been released and Kent County Cricket Club starts with a trip to Chelmsford, to play old rivals Essex, in the LV= County Championship, beginning on Friday April 8. The full fixture list is available to download by clicking here:

Captain and Coach visit two Kent hospitals
Kent County Cricket Club Captain Rob Key and Team Director Paul Farbrace put smiles on the faces of a number of local children when they visited two Kent hospitals last week:

Kent CEO visits the grave of Colin Blythe
Kent Chief Executive Officer Jamie Clifford recently travelled to Belgium for a special reason – to replace a miniature Kent County Cricket Club bat, which disappeared from the grave of former Kent and England spin bowler Colin Blythe. Business After 5 function attracts more than 70 Kent business people
The Club hosted a Business After 5 function at St Lawrence Ground Canterbury last Wednesday night (15 December). A gathering of more than 70 people, representing many of the leading organisations in the county, heard CEO Jamie Clifford update them on the goals and strategies for the Clubs growth in 2011, the redevelopment project and how Kent“s businesses could play a part in future success. Join the Kent Cricket Lottery and win big prizes!
As part of a drive to generate more funds for youth and junior cricket, the Club has launched its own lottery. The newly launched Kent Cricket Lottery is looking to raise revenue to support the work of both the Kent Cricket Board“s programmes and the Club“s own academy. Slight delay on the new website
The Club would like to apologise for the delay with the new website. Things aren“t progressing as quickly as we first hoped. The new site, which will offer greater interactivity, as well as regular audio and video highlights, will be ready in February 2011.
