Fireworks at St Lawrence Ground this Friday – Blean Village Londis Fireworks Extravaganza

We have pulled out all the stops ahead of this event, which will feature a fire show, live music, stilt walkers and glow acts for the first time. There will also be a funfair and free face painting for the kids.

Last year’s event was a resounding success, with 3,000 spectators coming through the gates, and this year’s event is set to be even bigger and better.

Refreshments and glow merchandise will be available to purchase on the night, along with free children’s face painting. Gates open at 6pm, with the firework display scheduled to start at 8.30pm. Entertainment starts at 6.15pm.

Kent Cricket Chief Executive Officer, Jamie Clifford commented; “Our Blean Village Londis Fireworks Extravaganza has become a great night for all the family. It will be hard to match last year’s event, but we have booked some exciting acts for an added bit of sparkle in the lead up to the fireworks. I once, again hope that this will be a great evening for everyone in Canterbury.”

Tickets for the Fireworks Extravaganza are available for purchase on the gate on Friday night:Tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £4 for juniors. A family ticket is also available for £20.
