Funeral this Friday for former Kent staff member

Kent County Cricket Club would like to offer its sincere condolences to the family of Mary Mervin; a former secretary to Neville Christopherson, who was Kent manager/secretary of the club in the 1950s.

Mary, who died locally at Waltham, near Canterbury, was great friends with the wife of the late Doug Wright and was in the Women’s Royal Naval Service (WRNS) during the war.

The funeral is taking place this Friday afternoon (3.20pm) at Barham Crematorium.
