Hemphrey and Blake help second team to win

KENT“S second eleven have won their latest Championship match with Middlesex at Richmond. All-rounder Alex Blake and spinner Charlie Hemphrey (pictured) led the way as Kent recorded an eight-wicket success.

After bowling Middlesex out for 261 in their second innings, Kent knocked off the required runs for the loss of just two wickets.

Hemphrey took 11 wickets in the match and Blake contributed 149 with the bat as Kent took 22 points.

The second team return to action on Monday when they play Northants in the Trophy at Kings School in Canterbury.
