Impressive response to request for Members’ Forum questions

The Club has received an amazing response from Members, following a request to submit questions in place of the Members’ Forum at the recent LV= Insurance County Championship match.

Members were offered the opportunity to submit questions via a website form after the Forum had to be postponed during Canterbury Cricket Week.

This format has allowed over 100 questions to be raised, meaning more Members have been able to have their views heard than is usually possible during the traditional Member’s Forum held during the lunch break of a match.

There were four main areas of questions:

  • Canterbury Cricket Week
    • A review and look ahead to future plans
  • Match Day Operations
    • Seating arrangements, Vitality Blast start times and access to pitch
  • Cricket Update
    • Squad news and the Royal London Cup campaign
  • Fixture scheduling
    • Plans for Tunbridge Wells and Beckenham

Over the coming weeks, each of these topics will be featured on the Club’s website from members of Kent Cricket’s Executive Leadership Team.

The first feature will be published on Saturday 13 August when Chief Executive, Simon Storey, will address the questions around Canterbury Cricket Week.

Members who have raised other questions not falling into these most popular areas will be contacted directly by the Membership Services team within 14 days.
