Men’s First Team

Following England’s 2-0 NatWest series victory over West Indies, the England selectors announced that Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann will be rested for the final ODI in the three match series taking place on Friday June 22 at Headingley Carnegie. Stuart Meaker (Surrey), Chris Woakes (Warwickshire) and James Tredwell have been called into the squad.

National selector, Geoff Miller, said: “The fact that we have already won the NatWest series means we are able to take the opportunity to rest three players ahead of next week’s series against Australia and take a closer look at players who are likely to feature in our limited overs planning going forward.”
