Kent County Cricket Club today announced that Jamie Clifford has been appointed as the club’s new chief executive officer following Paul Millman“s retirement last year.

The 34 year-old is a lifelong Kent fan and has been integral in the club“s ground redevelopment project, having been involved from the outset.

Commenting on Mr Clifford“s appointment, Kent chairman, George Kennedy, said: "Jamie has been a tremendous asset to the club over the last few years and his wealth of knowledge and experience will prove crucial as the redevelopment project starts to take shape. Not only does he have a detailed understanding of our business but he possesses the necessary drive and determination to bring about further growth."
