Friday 28th November 2014
Joe Denly hit a half-century for Brothers Union as the Kent batsman secured his first Dhaka Premier League win at table-topping Legends of Rupganj.
Chasing 193 to win, Denly scored a fluent 51 off 62 balls including six boundaries to help secure the five-wicket victory.
He had earlier taken the wicket of top scorer Mosharraf Hossain, caught and bowled for 80 in a tidy six-over spell that cost 23 runs.
The 28-year-old who recently returned to Kent is spending a month in Bangladesh to get some competitive batting practice before Christmas.
