John Clark receives honour for outstanding support

Kent Cricket supporter and General Committee member, John Clark received a unique award from captain Rob Key yesterday, in recognition of his dedication and support to the county side.

During tea, and shortly before Kent wrapped up a magnificent victory against Leicestershire on Friday, John was presented with a special framed plaque in recognition of his support. John was about to complete the attendance of his 250^th consecutive County Championship match (both home and away).

Kent Cricket Chief Executive Officer, Jamie Clifford commented during the presentation, in front of the Club’s Chiesman Pavilion; “John has fantastic commitment and an unfaltering support for Kent. To have attended 250 consecutive matches both home and away is quite outstanding. We thank John for his support and his contribution to the Club over many years, the presentation I hope shows the Club’s true appreciation.”
