Kent appoints DW Sports Fitness and health and fitness partner

Kent County Cricket Club today agreed an exciting new deal with DW Sports Fitness, which will see them become the official health and fitness partner. The new partnership allows the club“s players to use the local centre in Vauxhall Road, Canterbury.

Kent captain Rob Key believes it will have a major impact in helping the players maintain a high level of fitness throughout the year: “As someone who is dragged reluctantly to the gym, I can honestly say that DW Sports Fitness is without doubt the best gym that I have ever used. It is a pleasure to train there.”

Kent“s strength and conditioning coach Pete Kelly added: “I“m pleased to have joined forces with such a strong partner. DW Sports Fitness offers everything required for elite sportsmen. Being able to use such a good facility certainly makes my job much easier.”

Peter McCourt, general manager at DW Sports Fitness in Canterbury, said: “We are delighted to be working with Kent County Cricket Club. Our gym is the best in the area and it is a pleasure to see the Kent team coming to visit us on a day-to-day basis. I am sure that our excellent facilities will help them enjoy a good season.”
