Kent County Cricket Club Announce Fixture Switch

Kent Cricket today announced that the Club has agreed to switch their home Clydesdale Bank 40 Fixtures against Sussex Sharks this season.

The fixture on Monday 16th July, previously scheduled for the St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury, will now be played at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground and start at 1.45pm as part of the Arundel Festival.

The away fixture against Sussex scheduled for Bank Holiday Monday 27th August will now be played at home, at the St. Lawrence Ground starting at 1.45pm.

The switch has been made to accommodate a concert at the PROBIZ County Ground, Hove.

Commenting on the switch, Kent Cricket CEO Jamie Clifford said “we were happy to make the fixture switch when approached by Sussex. It allows them to host a concert, and it means we will have an attractive fixture – a potential group decider – on August Bank Holiday Monday, rather than a Monday evening game that fell before the start of the school holidays. By making this change before the start of the season I hope that it will minimise any inconvenience.”
