Kent Cricketers Go Back to School

This week several Kent cricketers, along with Head Coach Jimmy Adams went back to school, heading to Tunbridge Wells supported by Kent Cricket Board.

Jimmy Adams, Matt Coles, Calum Haggett and Brendan Nash took part in assemblies at Claremont Primary School and Langton Green Primary School, Tunbridge Wells in the lead up to Tunbridge Wells Cricket Festival which takes place at The Nevill during half-term, from 27th May to 2nd June.

Following an assembly, they took to the field with cricket activities organised by KCB and were impressed with the talent of the youngsters, Brendan Nash commenting; "It was great to go over to Tunbridge Wells and to generate further interest in the Tunbridge Wells Cricket Festival. They were great kids and really good at cricket for their age groups. A good positive interest in cricket from them all."

Many eager pupils are now looking forward to catching the boys in action at The Nevill during half-term week:

Kent Spitfires v Netherlands Yorkshire Bank 40 – Monday 27th May (Bank Holiday)

Kent v Leicestershire LV= County Championship – Wednesday 29th to Saturday 1st June

Kent Spitfires v Northamptonshire Steelbacks Yorkshire Bank 40 – Sunday 2nd June
