Kent Cricket’s Nimmo Reid helps Para-Motor team on 800 mile challenge

Monday 28th May 2012

Congratulations to Colin Rees and Sam Terry on completing their Porters 'Pie in the sky Challenge' in aid of the Help for Heroes charity. The challenge involved travelling the length of the country, that's over 800 miles in a Para-Motor from John O'Groats to Dover.

Sam injured himself during the challenge, tearing his left hamstring and damaging the medial collateral ligament of his right knee. He was treated by KentCricket physiotherapist Nimmo Reid on Saturday in a race to be fit to fly the final leg into Dover this weekend. Unfortunately his hamstring was unable to cope with the stress of running to take off and Colin flew the final leg, arriving in Dover this morning.
