Kent learn Clydesdale Bank 40 draw for 2013

Kent Spitfires have been drawn in Group A of the Clydesdale Bank 40 competition in 2013.

TheSpitfireswill face 2012 finalists, Warwickshire Bears,who they beat twice during the 2012 season.Group Aalso includes Sussex Sharks, who knocked Kent out of this year’s competition, winning the final group fixture of the season at Canterbury.

Northamptonshire Steelbacks, Nottinghamshire Outlaws and Worcestershire Royals complete Group A, along with the Netherlands.

KentSpitfires will play each side in their group at home and away,withtwelvematches throughout the course of the CB40 competition.

The winners of groups A to C, along with the best second-placed team will qualify for the semi-finals.

Full details of Kent's 2013 schedule are likely to be released in the lead up to Christmas.

GROUP A

Kent, Netherlands, Northants, Notts, Sussex, Warwickshire, Worcestershire.

GROUP B

Lancashire, Derbyshire, Durham, Essex, Hampshire, Scotland, Surrey.

GROUP C

Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Middlesex, Somerset, Unicorns, Yorkshire.
