Kent looking for fans to wear T20 colours for Durham Dynamos tie

Thursday 16th July 2009

KENTare calling on fans to turn up in their Twenty20 Cup colours; black and yellow for the Club’s big Twenty20 Cup tie on the 27 of July. Victory, for the Spitfires, will hand them a place at final’s day for a third consecutive season. This season the semi-finals and final will take place at Edgbaston; the scene of Kent’s T20 success in 2007.

Kent Spitfires Director of Cricket, Graham Ford, is calling on the crowd to play their part: "We really need our home advantage to count. If the supporters get right behind us then it will only help. We want to make it an intimidating atmosphere, with plenty of noise and passionate support. The guys love the vocal encouragement and I hope it will be better than ever against Durham Dynamos."
